Senior Strategy Manager - Crypto

As a Senior Strategy Manager for Crypto at Worldpay, you'll join the EMEA Commercial team within the Global Enterprise Go-to-Market function. You'll work on strategic planning for the cryptocurrency and Web3 sub-verticals within the Regulated Industries vertical, reporting to the Vertical Growth Lead. You'll collaborate across Business Development, Relationship Management, Marketing, Partnerships, Product, Legal, Risk and Compliance to position Worldpay as a thought leader and drive growth in these sectors across NORAM, EMEA, APAC and LATAM.

What you'll do

• Author and maintain a Plan to Win for the Regulated Industries vertical, specifically cryptocurrency and Web3 sub-verticals, across priority markets in the four regions: NORAM, EMEA, APAC and LATAM
• Develop the Worldpay value proposition to win in each sub-vertical from the customer perspective and work with internal stakeholders to define the company's right to win
• Generate thought leadership to position Worldpay as an influencer within the vertical for use in sales discussions, customer business review meetings and marketing channels
• Attend and present at industry conferences and internal events on trends impacting the vertical and Worldpay's value proposition
• Define the vertical go-to-market plan to effectively target marketing and partner cultivation efforts
• Coordinate and drive execution of strategic commercial initiatives to grow the vertical
• Support regional Business Development and Relationship Management teams on tactical requests including customer meetings, RFPs, target list development and thought leadership guidance
• Provide input into the product roadmap as the voice of the customer for target industries
• Support a team of strategy and marketing professionals in driving the objectives of the Regulated Industries vertical Plan to Win
• Develop a strong internal network amongst key stakeholders across Business Development, Relationship Management, Marketing, Partnerships, Product, Legal, Risk and Compliance

What you bring

• 3+ years' experience from a Tier 1 management consultancy firm or another larger enterprise in a strategy function, or 3+ years' expertise within a cryptocurrency exchange or Web3 focused company
• Active contribution to strategic decision-making processes and comfort making choices and assessing trade-offs
• Payments or other financial services experience desirable
• Bachelor's degree preferrable

Nice to have

• Experience working in Regulated Industries vertical businesses, preferably within a payments or customer experience function
• Self-motivation and ability to work to define priorities across a complex, global organization and close knowledge gaps quickly
• Ability to build consensus behind a vision and achieve buy-in to deliver on goals
• Intermediate communication skills including speaking in panels, webinars and on stage at events, and natural networking ability
• Good analytical experience and strong project management skills
• Comfort with global travel to attend internal and external events and customer meetings
• Track record as a high EQ colleague, helping both team engagement and collaboration
