Social Media Manager, Group Marketing

As a Social Media Manager at HashKey Group, you run day-to-day presence across our global and Chinese-language social channels. You turn brand strategy into content people actually stop to read, planning the calendar, creating and publishing posts, jumping on trends quickly, and reporting on what works. You'll work closely with the brand, content and design team, with strategic direction set by the team lead.

What you'll do

• Run daily operations for official accounts on X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and Telegram, as well as Chinese-language platforms such as WeChat Official Account and Xiaohongshu. Own the content calendar and keep every channel consistently active and on-brand.
• Plan, write and publish posts, short videos, carousels and threads. Adapt one story into the right format and tone for each platform, in both English and Chinese.
• Track social trends, memes and industry news, and turn them into timely content around market moments, product launches, partnerships and events.
• Support brand campaigns, product announcements and offline events with social coverage before, during and after, including live posting, recaps and community engagement.
• Track reach, engagement and follower growth by channel; produce regular reports and use the data to improve what you post next.
• Work with Legal and Compliance to ensure all content meets the standards of a licensed financial institution before it goes live.

What you bring

• A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, media or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on social media or content operations experience at a brand, agency, media company or tech/fintech company.
• A genuine heavy user of social platforms, with a strong feel for trends, internet culture and what makes content shareable.
• Strong writing skills in both English and Chinese; able to write social copy natively in each rather than translating.
• Practical content production skills: basic design and short-video editing with tools such as Canva, CapCut, Figma or the Adobe suite.
• Comfort with social analytics tools and turning data into clear takeaways.
• Speed, organisation and attention to detail; able to handle multiple channels and deadlines at once.

Nice to have

• Experience running social for Web3, crypto, fintech or financial services brands.
• Understanding of crypto community culture on X and Telegram.
• Familiarity with AI tools and their applications in content creation and social media.
• A portfolio of accounts or posts you have grown or created.
