As a Software Engineer on the Trading Product team at Aptos Labs, you will design, build, and experiment with trading products on the Aptos blockchain. This role carries significant impact and visibility, with the opportunity to shape technical direction and grow into leading other engineers as the team scales. You'll join a lean team with substantial autonomy, working on products from conception through launch and beyond.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and experiment with trading products for the Aptos blockchain
- Develop scalable APIs, indexing services, and data pipelines to support trading data access
- Build and maintain infrastructure for trading
- Write clean, performant, well-tested, and production-ready code
- Collaborate closely with protocol engineers, infrastructure teams, and product engineers
What you bring
- 3+ years of experience building and shipping products
- Strong experience building products in languages such as Typescript or similar
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and code quality
Nice to have
- Background in payments, DeFi, or TradFi
- Experience with blockchain
- Web3 experience or familiarity
