Solutions Engineer - EMEA

As a Solutions Engineer at BVNK, you are a technical partner to our commercial teams and prospective customers throughout the sales process. You lead the technical strategy for BVNK's most complex and strategic opportunities, helping customers understand how BVNK's stablecoin infrastructure and products can support their business and technical requirements. You sit at the intersection of Sales, Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Delivery, combining deep technical expertise with strong commercial judgment and executive-level customer communication.

What you'll do

• Own the technical strategy for strategic, complex, and enterprise customer opportunities throughout the sales process, partnering closely with Sales and Account Management to qualify opportunities and progress deals toward close.
• Lead complex technical discovery across customer architecture, payment flows, integration requirements, regulatory considerations, operational processes, and business objectives.
• Design scalable end-to-end solutions using BVNK's APIs, products, payment rails, stablecoin infrastructure, and supporting capabilities.
• Translate complex business and technical requirements into clear solution architectures, technical recommendations, and implementation approaches.
• Lead product demonstrations, technical workshops, architecture sessions, API discussions, and solution-design exercises with senior customer stakeholders.
• Qualify and validate technical requirements during the sales process, identifying technical risks, dependencies, product gaps, scalability considerations, and implementation constraints before a deal closes.
• Guide customers through complex architecture and integration decisions, balancing technical best practice, customer requirements, product capabilities, and commercial considerations.
• Lead technical components of enterprise procurement processes, including architecture reviews, security assessments, due diligence, and technical questionnaires.
• Develop proofs of concept and lead technical validation exercises where required to progress strategic opportunities.
• Partner closely with Product and Engineering to assess new and complex customer use cases, define solution approaches, and influence product development based on market requirements.
• Identify recurring customer requirements and product gaps, helping shape product strategy and roadmap prioritization.
• Establish clear implementation scope, solution architecture, dependencies, assumptions, and technical requirements before signed customers transition to Delivery.
• Provide structured and high-quality handoffs to Delivery, ensuring that customer objectives, architecture decisions, risks, dependencies, and commitments are clearly documented and understood.
• Build trusted relationships with senior technical and business stakeholders at customers and prospects, acting as a credible technical advisor throughout the sales process.
• Mentor and support other Solutions Engineers, providing guidance on solution design, technical discovery, deal strategy, and customer engagement.
• Contribute to the development of Solutions Engineering standards, methodologies, best practices, and operating processes.
• Develop reusable technical content, reference architectures, solution patterns, enablement materials, and internal documentation that help scale the global commercial organization.
• Support enablement of Sales, Account Management, and other commercial teams on BVNK's products, technical capabilities, and solution positioning.
• Provide market, competitive, and customer insights back into BVNK to help shape product strategy, commercial strategy, and roadmap priorities.

What you bring

• Significant experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Technical Consulting, or a similar customer-facing technical role, ideally supporting complex enterprise customers.
• Strong technical understanding of APIs, webhooks, authentication, data flows, system architecture, and modern software integrations.
• Strong understanding of payments infrastructure, payment flows, and financial technology ecosystems.
• Demonstrated ability to design and communicate complex end-to-end technical solutions across multiple systems, products, and stakeholders.
• Experience owning technically complex enterprise sales opportunities from discovery through technical validation and close.
• Ability to identify technical risks, dependencies, and product gaps early while remaining pragmatic and solutions-oriented.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage credibly with software engineers, architects, product leaders, security teams, compliance stakeholders, and senior executives.
• Strong commercial judgment and a clear understanding of how technical decisions influence sales cycles, deal progression, implementation success, and long-term customer outcomes.
• Experience leading technical workshops, architecture discussions, product demonstrations, and executive-level customer conversations.
• Ability to manage multiple complex and high-priority opportunities simultaneously.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across Sales, Product, Engineering, Compliance, Security, and Delivery.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving, evolving environment with a high degree of ownership and autonomy.
• A proactive mindset, strong judgment, and a bias toward solving complex customer problems in a scalable way.

• Experience with stablecoins, digital assets, blockchain infrastructure, or crypto payment rails.
• Experience mentoring or providing technical leadership to other Solutions Engineers.
