Staff Product Manager, Tokenization

As a Staff Product Manager for Tokenization at Ripple, you own the protocol workstreams that determine how institutional asset issuance and settlement scale on the XRP Ledger. You lead the evolution of Multi-Purpose Tokens (MPTs) from fund tokenization into a complete framework for all asset classes, and you drive the rollout of Confidential MPTs to bring capital-markets-grade privacy to a public chain. The specifications you write become amendments to an open-source ledger adopted by validators and used by real institutions moving real money.

What you'll do

• Lead the tokenization roadmap for XRPL, including MPT evolution, transfer controls, corporate actions and programmable tokens, and decide what belongs in the protocol versus above it.
• Lead the privacy roadmap to take Confidential MPTs from mainnet launch to institutional scale, including key rotation and recovery, performance targets and confidential vaults.
• Generate new feature specifications and build consensus behind them, working with Ripple engineering, XRPL validators and open-source contributors to carry proposals from concept to amendment.
• Set the requirements and priorities for each new asset class, and shape the go-to-market that brings capital markets participants onto XRPL.
• Make new primitives usable by bringing hardware wallets, custodians and issuer platforms along so institutions can adopt on day one.
• Scope the compliance capabilities that regulated issuers need to meet their obligations on XRPL.
• Partner with developer growth and documentation teams so institutions can originate assets on XRPL without a Ripple engineer in the room.
• Define the metrics that show the work is landing: XRPL's share of tokenized assets, issuance volume and ecosystem integrations.

What you bring

• Six or more years of experience shipping technical platform or protocol products as a product manager, with a record of taking complex things from idea to adoption.
• Comfort with protocol-level design: you can work through ledger internals, token standards and cryptography-adjacent questions such as confidential transactions and key management alongside engineers.
• Clear writing in specifications, requirements and positioning that brings engineers, partners and executives to the same page.
• A collaborative approach to working: you build alignment across distributed teams and partners, and you shape the roadmap when the answers are not yet known.

Nice to have

• Capital markets experience in funds, issuance, collateral and settlement workflows, or the regulatory considerations institutional issuers work with.
• Experience with open-source, standards or community governance processes.
