Trade Ops Specialist

As a Trade Operations Specialist at Bits of Gold, you'll be at the heart of our business, owning the execution and oversight of customer transactions from fiat transfers to crypto trades. You'll work in a technical, detail-oriented role that combines precision with real-time problem-solving, monitoring both manual and increasingly automated workflows while ensuring transactions are executed accurately, reliably, and compliantly.

What you'll do

• Execute daily transaction operations by processing and monitoring crypto and fiat transactions across banking, digital, and crypto platforms
• Perform reconciliations and settlements, reconciling fund movements and balances across banks, internal systems, wallets, custodians, and liquidity providers
• Investigate and resolve transaction issues including exceptions, discrepancies, refunds, and stuck transactions from identification through resolution
• Monitor and improve operational processes by maintaining operational controls and reporting, identifying inefficiencies, and supporting automation and process improvements
• Collaborate with Product and Development teams to perform QA checks, streamline workflows, and enhance our platforms and customer experience
• Help evolve our operations by testing new tools, identifying opportunities for improvement, and helping define how automated transactions are monitored and managed

What you bring

• 2+ years of proven experience in a finance operational role involving the execution of customer transactions and trades
• Hands-on experience with financial transactions, payments, settlements, or reconciliations
• A proven track record working with large datasets across tools like Excel and SQL
• Fluency in Hebrew and English, both verbal and written
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset with a commitment to accuracy
• Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and operate multiple complex systems
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across disciplines and with external partners
• High integrity and trustworthiness when handling sensitive financial data

Nice to have

• Experience in crypto operations
• Experience in risk and compliance operations
• Experience with automation tools, bots, or workflow optimization
• Understanding of blockchain technology and digital assets
• Fluency in French
