US Web3 Channels & Community Lead

As the US Web3 Channels & Community Lead at OKX, you will build OKX's presence across Western crypto communities by developing long-term relationships with KOLs, traders, community leaders, builders, and ecosystem partners. You'll serve as a visible and credible voice in the Western Web3 market, turning relationships into measurable business outcomes for a leading crypto exchange and developer of OKX Wallet.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain relationships with Western KOLs, traders, community leaders, builders, and ecosystem partners
• Develop a long-term network of high-quality channels across the US and broader Western crypto market
• Identify active and influential traders, creators, and community nodes in each market cycle
• Support go-to-market efforts for DEX, X Layer, Wallet, and other Web3 products through channel activation and community distribution
• Drive collaborations around new products, assets, campaigns, and ecosystem opportunities
• Build and operate Western community initiatives, including trader groups, ambassador programs, and local community partnerships
• Act as an external-facing voice for product updates, ecosystem developments, market opportunities, and community engagement
• Work closely with Product, Growth, Go-to-Market, and Ecosystem teams to translate product capabilities into clear market narratives and distribution strategies
• Collect market and user feedback while maintaining strong judgment on what is strategically relevant
• Track channel performance and contribute to user growth, trading volume, revenue, and long-term ecosystem retention

What you bring

• Based in New York or the Bay Area, able to work closely with the local team
• Deep understanding of Western crypto culture, Crypto Twitter (CT), on-chain trading, Meme coins, DEX, and community dynamics
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills; comfortable engaging directly with KOLs, traders, founders, and community operators
• Highly execution-oriented, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment
• Strong commercial sense and ability to connect channel activities with measurable business outcomes
• Good product sense and ability to distinguish meaningful user feedback from short-term or low-quality requests
• Comfortable building relationships from zero and following through until they become repeatable partnerships
• Strong written and spoken English with the ability to communicate naturally in crypto-native communities
• High ownership, strong judgment, and a clean professional reputation

Nice to have

• Experience in Web3 business development, KOL relations, community growth, trading platforms, or crypto ecosystems
• Established relationships across Western trader, KOL, or community networks
• Experience having lived and worked in both Asian and Western environments
