YouTube-Skriptautor & Social Media Manager – Krypto, Trading & Storytelling (Remote)

As a YouTube scriptwriter and social media manager at Yunicorn Ventures, you join the content team for Trademania, building stories around trading news, crypto, and financial markets. You research thoroughly, find compelling angles that connect crypto and trading to broader culture and events, and develop YouTube scripts with strong narrative arcs, compelling openings, and satisfying resolutions. Your focus is on research, dramaturgy, and audience retention across long-form videos and short-form social content.

What you'll do

• Find relevant topics regularly and build unusual bridges connecting Bitcoin and financial markets to pop culture, politics, and tech, preparing each idea with title suggestions and reference thumbnails
• React quickly to breaking news so that news videos go live in a timely manner
• Research Reel ideas that work for similar creators on Instagram
• Write complete, retention-optimized scripts for YouTube long-form videos from intro to final chapter, ready to read directly from a teleprompter
• Develop hooks and value propositions that clearly communicate what the video delivers and why viewers should stay until the payoff
• Structure each video in three to four chapters with escalating tension, placing the strongest material at the end
• Write occasional trading videos on strategies and fundamentals, such as "If I had to start over as a trader today"
• Write short-form content and posts for X (formerly Twitter) that keep the community engaged between videos
• Ensure the personal brand sounds recognizable across all formats and builds trust
• Translate complex crypto and trading topics into clear, understandable language without false profit promises or sensational exaggeration
• Support morning research for market updates by summarizing news, X posts, and on-chain data
• Help the editing and motion team understand which charts, screenshots, and animations a video needs
• Use AI tools for research and speed, but always rework the output yourself and never adopt a script verbatim

What you bring

• Proven experience writing scripts for longer YouTube videos, with two to three work samples you can share and explain (describing what you personally wrote and your structural reasoning)
• Strong understanding of dramaturgy and audience retention: you know how to open powerfully, which questions drive a story forward, and when information has maximum impact; you spot padding and can improve scripts deliberately
• Research skills: you work independently through complex topics, verify sources, and in investigative stories cleanly separate proven facts, allegations, and your own analysis
• Knowledge of crypto, trading, and financial news basics; you follow current developments and can quickly contextualize relevant news (you do not need to be a professional trader)
• Creative ideation: you find topics and unusual angles independently for current news, explainer videos, and investigative pieces, and you recognize which ideas have enough substance for a longer video
• Flawless, native-level German writing that sounds natural when spoken and makes difficult connections clear
• Understanding of how content is adapted for YouTube, Shorts, and X, and you can reliably coordinate their planning and publication
• Independent work style: you take feedback constructively, honor commitments, and are available for occasional coordination calls in German time zone evenings
