VP, Strategic Accounts

As VP, Strategic Accounts at Paxos, you sit at the intersection of the company's most important enterprise relationships and product vision. You source and negotiate landmark deals with C-suite leaders at the world's largest financial institutions, launch new products across fintech, payments and financial services, and turn strategic relationships into market-defining offerings. As a senior advocate for Paxos' regulation-first approach, you shape and execute strategy alongside leadership, set direction for winning in the institutional market, and take new solutions from 0 to 1.

What you'll do

• Source, negotiate and close multi-year, high-value partnerships with C-suite and senior executives at major enterprises to launch innovative new products across fintech, payments and financial institutions
• Expand revenue growth for Paxos solutions by landing new institutional relationships with asset managers, banks, brokerages and similar players
• Leverage your network to build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective institutional clients
• Lead the end-to-end sales lifecycle on complex deals, from executive presentations and proposals to product deep dives and onboarding, coordinating across internal teams to ensure successful launches
• Work hand-in-hand with Paxos leadership and relevant stakeholders to execute strategy and leverage resources strategically
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Product Marketing, Legal and Finance to build new product solutions and take them to market
• Build a go-to-market plan for banks, brokerages and financial institutions alongside cross-functional partners to set direction, goals, timelines and milestones for the product build
• Represent Paxos externally as a senior ambassador at client meetings, industry events and conferences, and track the evolving market landscape and competitors
• Mentor and raise the bar for colleagues across the Growth team, sharing best practices and helping to shape how the company sells and partners
• Immerse yourself in blockchain technology, cryptocurrency for enterprises and investors, and Paxos' regulation-first approach

What you bring

• 15+ years working cross-functionally in fintech, financial services or digital assets to launch new products from 0 to 1
• Deep experience within Financial Services with credibility at the executive level
• Proven track record selling B2B enterprise technology into domestic and global enterprises, including closing large, complex, multi-stakeholder deals and winning new institutional clients
• An extensive network across the institutional segment (banks, brokerages, corporate treasuries, pensions, endowments, foundations, family offices) that you can leverage to build pipeline
• Strong grasp of finance and technical concepts, with the ability to translate seamlessly between the two
• Experience building in a regulated, fast-moving industry

Nice to have

• Deep knowledge of the digital asset ecosystem, with a particular focus on stablecoins
• A track record of success in highly dynamic and ambiguous environments despite challenges from internal and external factors
• Passion for building things which have never been done before and that have global impact to provide broader access to financial services
