Wallet Operations Deputy, UAE

As a Wallet Operations Deputy at Binance, you oversee the daily operations of exchange wallets and blockchain infrastructure for a leading global cryptocurrency exchange serving 300+ million users across 100+ countries. You ensure wallet uptime, compliance with UAE regulators like the FSRA, and work across teams to resolve incidents and enhance our product for users worldwide.

What you'll do

• Oversee daily operations of exchange wallets, including deposits and withdrawals
• Monitor blockchain transactions to ensure timely processing and resolve delays or failures
• Maintain operational uptime of exchange wallets
• Coordinate and complete network upgrades, token events, and testing with no issues
• Prepare monthly wallet balance and transaction reports for regulatory submission to the FSRA
• Monitor internal alerts and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external parties to react to incidents and implement safeguards
• Continuously review existing risks and controls to prevent potential impact to the firm or users
• Review internal processes and simplify or automate them to enhance efficiency and user experience
• Analyze competitor products and industry trends to identify potential enhancements
• Work with Customer Support to resolve wallet-related user inquiries
• Partner with stakeholders across departments to solve customer pain points and enhance our product
• Communicate and collaborate with regulators, auditors, and external parties on licensing and certifications

What you bring

• At least 8+ years in crypto wallet operations, blockchain infrastructure, compliance, or a related role
• Familiarity with various blockchain technologies including EVM, Polkadot, Cosmos, and others
• Familiarity with on-chain analysis tools, DeFi protocols, and new projects
• Familiarity with wallet infrastructure such as nodes, signing services, and wallet custody models (hardware wallet, MPC, HSM, KSM, embedded custody)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to stay calm in pressure situations and make clear decisions with thorough impact analysis
• Ability to thrive in a 24/7 crypto environment with a self-starter mentality

• Experience facing regulators and navigating regulatory processes
• Experience in traditional finance custody
