Binance Accelerator Program - Community & Events (Africa)

As a Community & Events Intern in the Binance Accelerator Program, you help grow and engage Binance's local community across Africa. You moderate social channels and chat groups, support content creation and localization, coordinate online and offline events, and build partnerships with universities, developer communities, KOLs, and Web2/Web3 ecosystems. You also support community campaigns, Binance Angels initiatives, and regional marketing to ensure Binance remains active and well connected in your local market.

What you'll do

• Grow and manage local, user-focused online and offline Binance communities
• Moderate regional social media and chat groups to increase community followers and positive engagement
• Explore new community-friendly platforms to facilitate local community growth
• Organize online and offline events and meet-ups in your region
• Create, translate, and proofread content tailored to your local market and community
• Build close partnerships with regional developer communities, universities, blockchain associations, KOLs, and Web2/Web3 audiences
• Deploy online and offline developer campaigns such as hackathons, workshops, and conferences from ideation to execution
• Serve as a liaison between Binance Angels and Binance departments to coordinate special projects, marketing initiatives, campaigns, community AMAs, and communications
• Assist in recruiting and onboarding new volunteers for the Binance Angels program

What you bring

• A bachelor degree or above, preferably in marketing
• Exposure to digital marketing planning and execution, preferably in crypto exchanges, fintech, eCommerce, tech, or gaming in B2C-facing roles
• Knowledge of crypto, blockchain technology, and the Binance ecosystem
• Past marketing or growth roles at an asset exchange are strongly preferred
• Fluency in English to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders
• Excellent organizational skills, effective time management, and comfort working across time zones on multiple projects
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing many moving parts

Nice to have

• Experience in community management and events
• Additional languages beyond English
