Business Development Manager - Hungary

As a Business Development Manager at OKX, you will play a key role in expanding our network of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and affiliates in Hungary, Czechia, and Slovakia. You will own these partnerships from start to finish, driving growth in the region for a leading crypto exchange and developer of OKX Wallet.

What you'll do

• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the trading and crypto industries, including market trends, regulations, and key players, to make informed business decisions
• Proactively search for and attract new affiliates, VIP traders, trading and crypto communities, and influencers to foster strategic partnerships and enhance our network
• Implement strategies and campaigns to drive measurable results, focusing on content creation, increasing trading volume, acquiring new users, and promoting active transactions through affiliate channels
• Cultivate and maintain strong business relationships with VIPs and affiliates, ensuring their needs are met and aligning their strategies with our business objectives for mutual growth
• Initiate and participate in meetings with partners to explore opportunities for expanding cooperation and strengthening existing relationships, both locally and internationally
• Collaborate closely with colleagues from the product department, providing valuable market insights to optimize product offerings and attract qualified users
• Stay updated on competitors' advantages and industry trends, utilizing this knowledge to refine strategies, maintain a competitive edge, and capitalize on market gaps

What you bring

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience
• Fluency in English and Hungarian, or any of the Balkan region languages
• Proven experience in affiliate development within the crypto, finance, or trading industry, especially in Hungary
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data to drive strategic decisions
• Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
• A goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets
• In-depth understanding of financial market dynamics and regulations in the Eastern and Central European region

Nice to have

• Experience working across time zones and cross-cultural teams
• Previous experience at a crypto exchange, trading company, or CFD broker
• Passion for blockchain technology and the crypto trading space
• Knowledge of other Eastern and Central European languages
