Financial Crime Crypto/Digital Assets Analyst On Site- English - EY GDS Spain - Hybrid

As a Financial Crime Crypto/Digital Assets Analyst at EY GDS Spain in Malaga, you'll work on financial crime projects supporting clients in the crypto and digital assets space. You'll help clients choose suitable business solutions and contribute to their digital transformation while extending your expertise in anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing.

What you'll do

• Analyse transactional operations and identify signs of money laundering and financing of terrorism in cryptocurrencies and digital assets environments
• Apply Know Your Business procedures, including risk assessment during customer onboarding and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), and manage remediation and continuous monitoring of business relationships
• Implement and update Financial Crime Compliance policies and procedures
• Conduct risk assessments
• Provide functional support for the design and development of AML technological tools
• Communicate effectively with clients and report to senior management

What you bring

• A Bachelor's degree or Engineering qualification
• Training and specific experience in money laundering and financing of terrorism
• A high level of English proficiency
• Teamwork, communication, and innovation skills
• Autonomy, critical thinking, strong analytical capacity, and problem-solving ability
• Proactivity and a high capacity for learning

Nice to have

• Experience in Fintech, VASP, or gaming/betting companies
• Experience in the financial sector
• Prior experience working at Big4 or similar companies
