Graduate Algorithmic Trader 2027

As a Graduate Algorithmic Trader at Wintermute, you will join one of the largest algorithmic trading companies in digital assets. After a short training period with the traders, you will improve existing trading strategies, add new trading products, and enhance the technology behind the trading systems. You will analyze large amounts of trading and transaction data to generate insights and build solutions, with the opportunity to make an immediate impact on P&L.

What you'll do

• Improve existing trading strategies and add new trading products to the platform
• Analyze large amounts of trading and transaction data to generate actionable insights
• Build solutions based on your findings and prioritize improvements by impact
• Enhance the technology and infrastructure behind the trading systems
• Explore new ideas and trading strategies with guidance from senior traders

What you bring

• Strong Python skills developed through work, study, or personal projects (1-3 years of experience)
• Excellent quantitative and analytical abilities
• A strong willingness and curiosity to learn about algorithmic, high-frequency, quantitative, and liquidity provision trading
• An owner mentality focused on delivering results and growing the business strategically
• A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work across trading, coding, data analysis, and collaboration as needed
• Determination and ambition paired with humility and a willingness to work hard and learn
• A preference for meritocracy and being evaluated on what you deliver
• An entrepreneurial mindset and readiness to work non-standard hours in a 24/7 crypto environment
