FP&A Sr Specialist | Digital Assets

As an FP&A Senior Specialist for Digital Assets at Nubank, you become the finance partner for the Digital Assets organization. You own the financial view of Nubank's crypto trading and custody business in Brazil and digital asset products in Nu Global, including stablecoins, cross-border money movement, and crypto trading. As the business expands to new geographies, you will extend this financial ownership across each market.

What you'll do

• Own the planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles for Digital Assets across Brazil and Nu Global, with accountability for the integrity of the numbers and Finance's position with leadership.
• Build the P&L for each digital asset product, from trading and swaps to custody and stablecoin yield, and model how volume, take rate, balances, pricing, and partner costs flow through to Nubank's consolidated results.
• Track gross profit and cost-to-serve, including execution and liquidity costs, custody and platform provider fees, payment network and funding costs, and regulatory and audit requirements, and bring a point of view on what should change when results move.
• Support expansion into new geographies with the financial analysis behind each launch, including unit economics, local rails and funding methods, and the effect of licensing and legal entity structures.
• Partner with Controllership, Treasury, Legal, and Risk on custody accounting, reconciliation, yield accrual, and liquidity planning as assets under custody and stablecoin balances scale.
• Work with Digital Assets product and business leaders early enough to shape pricing, product, and investment decisions.
• Prepare clear, concise executive materials that simplify complex topics, often on short timelines.
• Use AI, advanced analytics, and automation to speed up planning and analysis, while maintaining the judgment to review and challenge AI-generated output.

What you bring

• The ability to build a P&L for a trading, custody, payments, or banking product from a blank page, understand how the lines interact, and identify what is wrong in a model built by someone else or by an AI tool.
• An understanding of how money movement and digital assets make and cost money, including trading and liquidity, custody, stablecoins and yield, FX, and card and payment networks, or the curiosity and rigor to develop this understanding quickly.
• Comfort starting from incomplete information, making assumptions explicit, and building planning processes where none exist yet.
• The ability to present with clarity to senior stakeholders, hold your ground on substance, and adapt when new information changes the answer.
• A track record building trust with product, controllership, treasury, legal, and risk partners, and influencing decisions without formal authority.
• Proficiency with modern analytics and AI tools to raise the speed and quality of your work, and the judgment to know where their output needs a human check. SQL and data skills are a plus.
• A willingness to share what you know, give and take direct feedback, and help raise the bar for analysts around you.
• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Experience with crypto, stablecoins, FX, or cross-border payments.
• Experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate development, or business analysis, ideally in financial services such as a bank, brokerage, exchange, card issuer, payments or remittance company, or fintech.
• A track record of building P&Ls and forecasting models for financial products, not only maintaining them.
• Experience presenting to and influencing senior leadership.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese.

Nice to have

• An advanced degree or relevant certification such as CFA.
• Experience supporting the launch or scaling of a new product or market within a larger financial institution.
• Fluency in Spanish.
