As a Corporate Finance Associate at BVNK, you join the Corporate and Commercial Finance team to help shape the company's corporate development. You will execute strategic initiatives to drive growth and expansion, working on investment reporting, M&A strategy, and corporate development opportunities for a next-generation payments platform bridging traditional systems with distributed ledger technology.

What you'll do

• Maintain and enhance the long-term forecast and investment model on a monthly basis to incorporate the latest growth metrics, products, and strategy
• Ensure all financial investment-based reporting meets best practice standards
• Prepare investor materials, presentations, and updates aligned to corporate strategy
• Work closely with investment advisors to prepare investment materials, data rooms, and facilitate due diligence processes
• Own a corporate development and M&A strategy and framework aligned with organic growth capabilities, working cross-functionally
• Conduct in-depth global market research, competitor research, and trend analysis to identify opportunities to accelerate company-wide growth targets
• Identify and build a global pipeline of regionally focused fintech companies for analysis, acquisition evaluation, and potential product or banking partnerships
• Develop regular strategic insights through research and M&A efforts to provide structured feedback to business stakeholders across executive, banking, product, and commercial teams
• Build investment cases for potential acquisition targets, including conducting due diligence and negotiating deals

What you bring

• 5 years of experience in the payments or fintech space
• Understanding of the operating environment and requirements of a fast-growing crypto fintech scale-up
• Ability to navigate the challenges that crypto and fintech firms face
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proactive approach to work with strong initiative and urgency
• Excitement about working at the intersection of traditional and crypto financial systems

Nice to have

• Knowledge and experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or management consulting
