Motion Brand Designer

As a Motion Brand Designer at Douro Labs, the core development team behind the Pyth Network, you bring our brand to life through animation, video and visual design across digital channels, events and products. You are a hands-on designer who loves making things move, shifting easily from quick animated campaign graphics to full motion packages for product launches or event booth screens, often on short notice. You will work closely with our Brand Design Lead to animate our visual identity systems across every touchpoint, from web and social to events, while supporting our Product Design Lead on product-side animation in the near term.

What you'll do

• Create animations and short-form video for social media, campaigns and partner announcements
• Produce motion packages for product releases, exchange integrations and major ecosystem events
• Turn complex ideas, like real-time market data, into clear and engaging animated stories
• Bring our website to life with animations and interactive moments in Framer
• Build reusable motion systems, templates and brand animation guidelines
• Adapt and resize motion assets across formats and platforms
• Design static social assets, sales collateral, internal communications and web content
• Apply brand guidelines consistently across all digital channels
• Create motion content for event screens, stage visuals and booth displays
• Design booth graphics, signage and printed collateral
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to deliver event assets on time
• Support the Product Design Lead with UI animations, micro-interactions, illustrations and visual assets
• Help keep visual consistency between brand and product surfaces

What you bring

• Excellent motion design skills, with a portfolio that demonstrates animation, video and brand-led motion work
• Hands-on Framer experience, including building and animating web pages or interactive prototypes
• Proficiency in Figma, with clean, well-organized files and experience working with shared libraries
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a motion, graphic or brand designer
• Strong generalist skills across layout, typography, color and composition
• A portfolio showing range across digital and print
• An AI-forward mindset, using platforms like Claude and Firefly in your daily practice to explore new visual ideas
• Self-organization and proactivity, able to manage your own workload and deadlines
• Clear, warm communication: you take direction well and speak up with ideas
• A resourceful, experimental approach to problem-solving, and you enjoy figuring things out

Nice to have

• 3D experience such as Cinema 4D or Blender
• Illustration and iconography skills
• Crypto, DeFi or financial infrastructure familiarity
