Senior Product Designer, Fiat/Earn

As a Senior Product Designer at OKX, you'll focus on VIP and Deposit & Withdraw experiences, guiding the team's attention to UX craft and leading cross-functional design alignment across global apps. You'll shape how VIP users experience tiering and benefits, and how all users move funds in and out of OKX across fiat and crypto rails, including connections to Earn. Working closely with design, product, creative, strategy, engineering, and research teams, you'll deliver designs aligned with business objectives while maintaining excellent user experience and product quality.

What you'll do

• Leverage data, insights, and user feedback to inform problem statements, product interfaces, and user journeys
• Generate ideas quickly and validate directions by connecting regularly with customers
• Participate in design critiques and present work in product leadership feedback meetings
• Own end-to-end design quality for VIP and Deposit & Withdraw, advocating for UX craft and user needs
• Design VIP tiering, benefits, and recognition experiences, including how Earn perks and bonuses surface for VIP users
• Design deposit and withdrawal flows across fiat and crypto rails that are fast, trustworthy, and easy to follow
• Co-lead the product development process, influencing strategic decisions to improve overall product experience and ensure consistency
• Partner with visual designers, product managers, user researchers, and engineers across markets to build and ship experiences aligned with company vision
• Work across teams to drive consensus and advocate for solutions that balance user needs with business goals
• Think systematically about UI patterns and reusable solutions, designing scalable components that work across features and contexts
• Contribute to and evolve the design system by identifying opportunities to abstract designs into well-documented, flexible components

What you bring

• Native understanding of crypto with experience investing in CeFi or DeFi
• 5-8 years of product design experience with a Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Web Design, or equivalent project/portfolio experience
• Experience designing outstanding digital products in an agile development environment with cross-functional partners, backed by a portfolio showcasing modern design work and mobile-first digital design capability
• Deep understanding of human-centered design principles and ability to dissect complex problems, translating them into user-centric, data-driven, intuitive, and inclusive experiences
• Extensive background developing digital products through comprehensive knowledge of user research, user experience, interaction design, and prototyping techniques, with demonstrated expertise in design methodologies and tools for cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple dependencies, prioritize tasks independently, and demonstrate flexibility while proactively addressing challenges
• Strong presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills with experience articulating complex concepts persuasively, providing rationale for decisions, remaining open to feedback, and confidently representing viewpoints
• Systems-level design thinking: you naturally spot patterns across flows and proactively create reusable, scalable components rather than solving each screen in isolation, with experience building, documenting, or contributing to a component library or design system

• Knowledge of OKX VIP, Deposit & Withdraw, and Earn products
• Experience working with teams across offices and US time zones
• Experience using AI tools such as Figma plugins, generative design, and prompt-based prototyping to accelerate design workflows and explore concepts faster
• Experience using AI to build systematic design approaches, moving beyond screen-by-screen design to construct interactive, high-fidelity flows that can be explored and validated end to end
