Sales Associate

As a Sales Associate at Shift Markets, you'll drive inbound and outbound pipelines for our prediction markets and crypto exchange infrastructure products. You own the top of the sales funnel, identifying operators, qualifying leads, and booking meetings for senior sales owners. This is an associate-level role with a clear path to a full sales-cycle seat, and you'll help set the standard for how we build pipelines as we scale.

What you'll do

• Run outbound prospecting via email, LinkedIn, and X to target founders and operators in prediction markets, crypto exchanges, and FX brokerages.
• Qualify inbound leads and route them to the right sales owner.
• Build and operate AI-assisted workflows for prospect research, list-building, and CRM hygiene.
• Represent Shift at NYC crypto, fintech, and prediction market events, meetups, side events, conferences, and dinners, bringing back leads and market intelligence.
• Maintain accurate data in the CRM and report weekly on outbound volume, response rates, and meetings booked.
• Partner with the Growth Marketing team to align sales messaging with what's converting in content and community.

What you bring

• 0-3+ years of experience.
• Default fluency with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Apollo, n8n, or equivalent as part of how you work.
• Sharp written communication skills, including the ability to write cold emails that get replies.
• Deep curiosity about prediction markets, crypto, and trading infrastructure. You can explain what a prediction market is and why it matters in two sentences.
• Comfort with in-person networking and cold outreach.

Nice to have

• Experience in sales, business development, or account management.
• Crypto native background: you've used a wallet, follow crypto Twitter, and can explain why Polymarket and Kalshi compete.
• Familiarity with a CRM such as HubSpot or Salesforce, or GTM tooling like Apollo.
• A track record of building and shipping something publicly, such as an outbound sequence engine, a scraper, or an agent.

• Annual salary of $70,000-$90,000 depending on skills and experience.
