Senior Strategic Account Manager, GTM

As a Senior Strategic Account Manager at Chainlink Labs, you own and grow a portfolio of top DeFi protocols, becoming the main business owner and trusted advisor for each account. You work across lending, perpetuals/derivatives, liquid staking tokens, and more, building multi-threaded relationships with founders, core contributors, risk teams, DAO delegates, and service providers to drive adoption of Chainlink services.

What you'll do

• Own and grow strategic DeFi accounts, serving as the primary business owner for a portfolio of top DeFi protocols and supporting adoption of Chainlink services
• Build multi-threaded relationships with founders, core contributors, risk teams, DAO delegates and service providers, understanding each protocol's roadmap, governance and economics to identify where Chainlink adds value
• Bring product feedback and feature requests from customers back to Product, Engineering and GTM to influence roadmap priorities based on customer needs
• Orchestrate cross-functional delivery by coordinating Solutions Architects, Product, Legal and Marketing to ensure integrations, launches and co-marketing deliver against internal and partner expectations

What you bring

• 3+ years of extensive account, new business and/or relationship management in technical environments, with experience managing large and complex accounts and engaging stakeholders across all levels and functions
• Knowledge of web3 and blockchain technology with strong, hands-on experience in DeFi and a clear understanding of how Chainlink plugs into DeFi protocols
• Technical fluency to hold your own in product and architecture discussions with protocol engineers and know when to escalate to Solutions Architects and Product Managers
• Strong commercial judgment and negotiation skills, with a track record of structuring and closing multi-stakeholder deals including custom high-value arrangements
• Excellent written and verbal communication for governance forum posts, executive summaries, proposals and live negotiations
• Ability to work comfortably with ambiguity in a fast-moving, globally distributed environment while managing multiple high-importance accounts simultaneously
• Ability to travel 20% or more

Nice to have

• Hands-on development experience on web3 and DeFi projects
• Strong experience working with DAOs
• Technical background or ability to read Solidity and on-chain data
• Knowledge of the market landscape in data infrastructure, oracles, interoperability and orchestration
• Exposure to institutional or TradFi-adjacent DeFi such as RWAs, tokenized funds and stablecoin issuers
• Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up
