Senior Strategic Account Manager, GTM

As a Senior Strategic Account Manager in GTM at Chainlink Labs, you own and grow a portfolio of top DeFi protocols, serving as the primary business owner for strategic accounts in lending, perps/derivatives, LSTs/LRTs and related verticals. You act as a trusted advisor to founders, core contributors, risk teams, DAO delegates and service providers, understanding each protocol's roadmap, governance and economics to shape how Chainlink fits and adds value.

What you'll do

• Own and grow strategic DeFi accounts, supporting and expanding adoption of Chainlink services across your portfolio
• Build multi-threaded relationships with protocol stakeholders at all levels, understanding their roadmaps, governance structures and economics
• Bring product feedback, feature requests and customer insights back to Product, Engineering and GTM teams to influence roadmap prioritization
• Orchestrate cross-functional delivery by coordinating Solutions Architects, Product, Legal and Marketing to ensure integrations, launches and co-marketing initiatives meet internal and partner expectations

What you bring

• 3+ years of account, new business or relationship management in technical environments, with experience managing large, complex accounts and engaging stakeholders across all levels and functions
• Deep knowledge of web3 and blockchain technology with strong hands-on DeFi experience, and a clear grasp of how Chainlink integrates into DeFi protocols and the value it provides
• Technical fluency to hold your own in product and architecture discussions with protocol engineers and know when to escalate to Solutions Architects or Product Managers
• Strong commercial judgment and negotiation skills, with a track record of structuring and closing multi-stakeholder deals including custom high-value arrangements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for governance forum posts, executive summaries, proposals and live negotiations
• Ability to work comfortably with ambiguity in a fast-moving, globally distributed environment while managing multiple high-importance accounts simultaneously
• Ability to travel 20%+

Nice to have

• Hands-on development experience on web3 or DeFi projects
• Strong experience working with DAOs
• Technical background or ability to read Solidity and on-chain data
• Knowledge of the market landscape in data infrastructure, oracles, interoperability and orchestration
• Exposure to institutional or TradFi-adjacent DeFi such as RWAs, tokenized funds or stablecoin issuers
• Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up
