Senior Strategic Account Manager, GTM

As a Senior Strategic Account Manager at Chainlink Labs, you own and grow strategic relationships with top DeFi protocols. You serve as the main business owner for a portfolio of leading protocols across lending, derivatives, liquid staking tokens, and beyond, driving adoption of Chainlink's oracle and infrastructure services. You act as a trusted advisor, building deep multi-threaded relationships with founders, core contributors, risk teams, DAO delegates, and service providers, while bringing customer needs back to influence Chainlink's product roadmap.

What you'll do

• Own and grow a portfolio of strategic DeFi accounts, serving as the primary business owner responsible for supporting and expanding Chainlink service adoption across lending protocols, perps/derivatives platforms, LSTs/LRTs, and other DeFi segments
• Build multi-threaded relationships with founders, core contributors, risk teams, DAO delegates, and service providers, understanding each protocol's roadmap, governance, and economics to identify where Chainlink adds value
• Bring product feedback, feature requests, and customer insights back to Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to influence roadmap priorities based on customer needs
• Orchestrate cross-functional delivery by coordinating Solutions Architects, Product, Legal, and Marketing to ensure integrations, launches, and co-marketing initiatives meet internal and partner expectations

What you bring

• 3+ years of account management, new business development, or relationship management in technical environments, with proven success managing large and complex accounts and engaging stakeholders across all levels and functions
• Knowledge of web3 and blockchain technology with strong, hands-on experience in DeFi, including personal use of DeFi protocols, plus a clear understanding of how Chainlink integrates into DeFi protocols and the value it delivers
• Technical fluency to hold your own in product and architecture discussions with protocol engineers, knowing when to escalate to Solutions Architects and Product Managers
• Strong commercial judgment and negotiation skills, with a track record of structuring and closing multi-stakeholder deals including custom, high-value arrangements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for governance forum posts, executive summaries, proposals, and live negotiations
• Comfort with ambiguity and fast-moving, globally distributed environments, able to manage multiple high-importance accounts concurrently
• Willingness to travel 20%+

• Hands-on development experience on web3 and DeFi projects
• Strong experience working with DAOs
• Technical background or the ability to read Solidity and on-chain data
• Knowledge of the data infrastructure, oracles, interoperability, and orchestration market landscape
• Exposure to institutional or TradFi-adjacent DeFi such as RWAs, tokenized funds, and stablecoin issuers
• Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up
